Biography
| Hi, my name’s Lee and as you can see I’m a keen photographer! I’m 22 years old, and have been a practising artist (!) for about 17 of those years; I started off drawing aircraft at the age of five, and have never looked back – I’ve been drawing, painting and taking photos ever since! I studied art at school until I was 16, but found it a bit frustrating having to copy other artists instead of getting out there and ‘doing it myself’ – since leaving education my interest in art, and the art of photography in particular has flourished. I really enjoy taking photos of both the natural and man-made aspects of the world, and have a particular interest in transport. I’ve found I like taking shots of the mechanical aspects of trains, as you can see in my shots “Old Workhorse” and “Vanguard in steam.” I have recently kitted myself out with a Canon EOS 5D and a variety of professional lenses, and am now raring to go – I go out to the countryside to take photos on a weekly basis, so expect to see new works regularly! Now I can share my photos with the world, I hope you all enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it! |

Education
- I have studied Art as a subject for 5 years at secondary education level, and achieved high grades on my works for Art GCSE. Most of my photographic knowledge, however, is self taught from books and years behind the lens :)
